about Bad Business Online
If you
have been victimized by an unscrupulous business practice, you can
complain online to the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Consumer
Protection. Although the Commission cannot resolve problems for
you, the agency can use the information against a company if it
sees a pattern of possible law violations. If you would like to
forward unsolicited commercial e-mail (spam) to the Commission,
send it directly to UCE@FTC.GOV
without using this online form.

Uncle
Sam Wants You to Register Online
For nearly
two decades young men have gone to post offices, completed and mailed
a registration form, and waited 60 to 90 days to hear from the Selective
Service. Since December of 1998, they can register online and instantly
receive a Selective Service number. Since then the agency has received
more than 165,000 electronic registrations--almost 15 percent of
the total.
