provides access to international trade information and services
needed to succeed in today's increasingly global economy.
Federal Task Force
Is Working on an Automated Import/Export System
Attention, importers, exporters, brokers, carriers, and others associated
with international trade transactions. A small federal task force
working under the Treasury Department is developing an International
Trade Data System, an automated import/export system. ITDS will
establish one standardized and harmonized data record that will
meet the information and regulatory requirements of federal trade
agencies. The group has developed a website, International
Trade and Transport Advisor that will become a one-stop shop
for you. If you click on the link, some browsers won't let you come
back to our Access America Online Magazine unless you double-click
on "Back." So take a look, but please come back to finish your visit
with us.
