This "government of the 21st century" is emerging now, thanks to the energy and innovative spirit of federal workers in agencies all over government. Leading this transformation are the Government Information Technology Services Board, the Chief Information Officers Council, and the National Partnership for Reinventing Government. Greg Woods, Chair of the Government Information Technology Services Board, says that technology is the great enabler for changing the way government interacts with citizens.
