National
parks cover about 83 million acres. And if you think the only thing
you'll find are beautiful mountains, lakes, waterfalls, wildlife,
wild flowers and other wondrous works of nature, think again. At
our national parks, you'll find historical buildings, art, artifacts,
documents, and monuments. And on this website, you'll find these
national treasures organized by everything from performing arts
to science to military history.
Are
You a Really, Really Late Tax Filer?
Let's get cracking on that tax return, especially
if it's for 1996! IRS estimates that more than 1.6 million taxpayers
who failed to file tax returns for 1996 risk losing about $2 billion
in refunds if they don't get their late returns in by April 15.
More than half could receive $442 or more. And there's no penalty
for filing late if you're due a refund!
