Two new systems will allow veterans quick, easy and secure access to apply for compensation, pension, rehabilitation benefits and health care. Later this year, VA plans to offer education applications on the Internet.

FDA Warns Public About PPA
The Food and Drug Administration is taking steps to remove phenylpropanolamine (PPA) from drug products and has asked drug companies to discontinue products with that ingredient. PPA, used in many over-the-counter and prescription cough and cold medicines, has been linked to a risk of hemorrhagic stroke.
