Immigration and Naturalization's website is becoming one of the hottest in government. In March 2000, an average of more than 27,000 users each weekday stayed on the site an average of 18.5 minutes per visit-up from 13,400 per weekday just over one year ago.

Two Federal Libraries Share Award
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Central Library shared the Library of the Year award with the Los Alamos National Laboratory Research Library. The NOAA Library organized over 500 NOAA websites under one locator and created a digital image library of meteorological images from the 1800s to the 1950s. Los Alamos collaborated to develop a browsable interface for categorizing its science and technology Web resources to create the foundation for an Internet portal.
