Newsletter
Supports Access America
The
Vice President’s 1997 report, "Access
America," lays out his vision of a government that delivers
services electronically and uses information technology to improve
productivity. The
Office of Intergovernmental Solutions, headed by Frank McDonough,
publishes the newsletter in response to one of the Access America
initiatives—sharing information technology experiences worldwide.
The Office publishes this newsletter two or three times a year.
Each issue features themes that affect all levels of government.
It is distributed to senior level government and industry officials
worldwide
Martha
Dorris, OIS Program Director, stated that "Today, it is possible
to see that reinvention is maturing as a management objective;
and, it is becoming a broader, more inclusive subject."
