Advisory Commission on Electronic Commerce
Plans Teleconference Call to Approve Final Report

What:	The Advisory Commission on Electronic Commerce will conduct a teleconference meeting for the purpose of giving final approval to the form and text of the Commission's report to Congress. The meeting is open to the public through an audio Web-cast accessible through links on the opening page as well as the Calendar/Meetings page of the Commission's Web site, located at www.ecommercecommission.org. The Commission, created by Congress last year, is charged with studying issues related to Internet taxation and tariffs, and will report its conclusions to Congress in April. Transcripts from this meeting will be available to the public and media on the Commission's Web site during the week of April 3, 2000. The Commission held its final meeting in Dallas March 20-21.
