Boston Forum

The Commission on Affordable Housing and Health Facility Needs for Seniors in the 21st Century joined the Harvard University Joint Center for Housing Studies and the Citizens' Housing and Planning Association at a Boston public forum on March 1, 2002. The Commission was invited to seek the input of New Englanders as it moves toward producing its report. The Commission was joined by Congressman Barney Frank (D-MA) and Congressman Michael Capuano (D-MA) at the forum which drew nearly two hundred people from the surrounding area. Commission Co-Chair Ellen Feingold, hailing from the Boston area, helped put together the event for the Commission. The Commission then spent the afternoon touring several model projects in the Boston area.
