POLISH HELP HOSPITALS IN SOUTH CENTRAL IRAQ

Hilla, Babil Province, Iraq. The Humanitarian Assistance Coordination Center (HACC) recently received medicine and medical equipment from the Polish Medical Mission. The HACC gave the medicine and medical equipment to hospitals in Hilla and Karbala.

A large shipment of medicine will arrive soon from the Polish Catholic Organization for Caritas Polska. The HACC will distribute that medicine throughout hospitals in South Central Iraq.

The HACC operates in coordination with the Polish Army and the Coalition Provisional Authority to identify needs in the region and to provide solutions for the Iraqi people. The above examples wonderfully illustrate the many ways in which the Coalition works to assist the Iraqi people as they move toward a sovereign, democratic government.
