Tree Farming with inside a CRP type program with Government supported cash-outs every 5-10 years could help Tobacco farmers.

As I see it the state and national forests are increasingly being set off limits to loggers, as it should be, and an alternative should be found domesticly. The only problem with tree farming now is the payoff is in 20 years for poplar and 100+ years for hardwoods. A program that would payout a portion of that money throught the growth span of a tree would certainly help.
