PUBLIC HEARING OF THE
US TRADE DEFICIT REVIEW COMMISSION

TRADE IN MANUFACTURING, LABOR,
AND ENVIRONMENT
PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA

(WASHINGTON, DC) -- The Trade Deficit Review Commission will hold its first field hearing on Friday, October 29, 1999, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The hearing will be held in the Museum of Art Theater at the Carnegie Museum of Art, 4400 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213-4000. The session will cover trade in manufacturing, labor and environment issues and include testimony from experts in the field of trade, business, government, academia and the environment. Public participation is invited and there will be an open-mike session for public comment at the conclusion of the afternoon session. Sign-up for the open-mike session will take place in the afternoon and will be on a first come first served basis.
