(WASHINGTON, DC) -- The Trade Deficit Review Commission will hold its second public hearing on Thursday, September 9, 1999, in the form of an extended briefing session by experts from think tanks and universities. This session will cover the "Impacts of the Trade Deficit on the U.S. Economy," and follows the first briefing held on August 19, which covered the"Causes of the Trade Deficit." The session will be held in Washington, DC in Room 192 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
