Purpose: To take testimony on: "Agricultural Trade," "U.S. Small Business Trade," and "U.S.-Canadian Trade" and Their Importance to the U.S. Economy/U.S. Exports


(WASHINGTON, DC) -- This hearing will cover: (1) the importance of agricultural trade for the U.S. economy and the challenges facing U.S. agricultural exports in world markets; (2) U.S. small business perspectives on trade policies and the trade deficit; and (3) U.S.-Canadian trade issues with this country's third largest deficit trading partner. Experts from agribusinesses, farm organizations, labor, small business owners, and academia will address the issues confronting U.S. trade and the trade deficit.
