Comment: Re: Tax Reform Proposals. 1) Tax capital gains as ordinary income. Eliminate Schedule D 2) Remove all deductions except for charity and health care. 3) Eliminate the Alternative Minimum Tax. Pay for this by eliminating all tax shelters. See Step 2. 4) Make all government employees, appointees and elected officials do their own taxes, by hand, with no help from anyone except the IRS.
