Comment: To Members of the Tax Reform Panel: I strongly support and recommend the Fair Tax plan outlined in HR25 proposed by Rep. John Linder of Georgia. This plan easily recognizes the importance of home ownership and charity in society as all income would be received on a pre-tax basis, not just income used for mortgage payments and charitable contributions. This will allow citizens to more easily save for a house and make payments once they do buy their home. Furthermore, statistics show that when household income rises, so does charitable giving.
