Subject: News about tax plan Comment: I am very disturbed at the news that the tax reform panel is leaning toward making the current tax system even more complicated by the proposal to severely limit the deduction for mortgage interest and medical insurance premiums. We need tax simplification with some type of flat tax or “fair” tax. Somehow you need to realize when you raise taxes you reduce revenues. Static analysis will always fail. Do not penalize those who buy residences and are able to deduct interest!
