Comment: Why not do what counties do..have a real estate tax? I was a Revenue Officer (tax collector) for 26 years and I saw first-hand how much tax goes uncollected. A national real estate tax would solve that problem and would still be progressive in that those who own (or rent) more real estate would pay more. |
