Subject: I Support the FairTax (HR 25)

Comment: The FairTax has more benefits and fewer downsides than any other proposal. I'm particularly in favor of treating everyone in the US equally when it comes to taxes. Under the FairTax, all people in the US would pay taxes - including foreigners, US citizens and illegal aliens. Currently, illegal aliens and others involved in illegal activities can spend their ill-gotten gains without any consequences. A national sales tax force them to make a useful contribution.
Any form of income tax (flat or progressive) punishes good behaviors such as hard work and saving.
VAT taxes are too easy to manipulate and hide from the tax payers.

Above all, taxes should apply to everyone - they should be fair to everyone, and not be used to pick winners and losers.
