To whom it may concern:
        I firmly believe that television air time should be provided to
political candidates free of charge so that they may express their views to
the public without having to raise exorbitant amounts of money.  We must get
"big money" out of politics, and campaign finance reform is on the horizon.
Having free air time for candidates will will lead to a more representative
democracy, where ideas rather than dollars have the most influence.
        This is a complicated issue, and I urge you to formulate a consensus
agenda soon.  I look forward to hearing of your actions.
