Helen Junz has provided economic consultancy services since 1996. Her work has included a project with the Volcker Committee, on estimating the size and structure of the wealth of the Jewish population in Nazi-affected countries before World War II. From 1994 to 1996, she acted as Director of the Gold Economics Service for the World Gold Council. Ms. Junz worked with the International Monetary Fund from 1982 to 1994. She has published numerous articles in professional journals on international policy cooperation, adjustment policy, trade, investment and finance. Ms. Junz obtained her M.A. from the New School for Social Research in New York.

Dr. Jonathan Petropoulos was recently appointed Professor of History at Claremont McKenna College. Since 1993, he has been on the faculty of the Department of History Loyola College, Maryland. Dr. Petropoulos received his B.A. in History from UCLA in l983 and his Ph.D. in Modern European History from Harvard University in 1990. He is the author of Art as Politics in the Third Reich (University of North Carolina Press, l996) and his book The Faustian Bargain: the Art World in Nazi Germany will be published this year by Oxford University Press. He is the author of numerous scholarly articles on the history of art and culture in Nazi Germany, and has written extensively about the looting of art during World War II and its sale during the post-war period. Dr. Petropoulos is the Administrative Director and Board Member of The Project for the Documentation of Wartime Cultural Losses, a not for profit organization created in 1998 to gather, centralize, and make available information relating to art, archives, and other types of cultural property displaced as a consequence of war.
