May 1997 | OMB reports to the President and Congress on the results of the pilot projects. (The last even in the pilot project phase by March 31, 1997.) |
June 1997 | GAO reports to the Congress on agency readiness to begin full implementation. |
September 1997 | Agencies submit annual performance plans for FY 1999 to OMB. (Recurs for each fiscal year thereafter.) |
September 30, 1997 | All agencies are to have completed developing 5-year strategic plans. (Strategic plans are to be revised and updated at least every three years thereafter.) |
