eGov Call for Nominations Deadline Is March 31

We would like to request your participation in the nomination process for E-Gov's Government Solutions Center. Eighteen Government agencies will be selected to showcase their Electronic Government Best Practice applications at the E-Gov 2000 Conference and Exposition", to be held July 10 - 13, 2000 at the Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C.

In its third year, E-Gov is the only Conference and Exposition dedicated to advancing Electronic Government initiatives. The Government Solutions Center is a focal point of both the Exposition and the E-Gov professional educational program. This is an excellent opportunity for the leaders in Electronic Government implementation to demonstrate the significant impact their efforts have made on how the Government does business in the Information Age.

The GSC demonstration pavilion and the associated Best Practice Briefings to be held in the adjacent GSC Theatre provide a forum for peer-to-peer sharing of the applications and ideas that are transforming the delivery of government service.

Twenty GSC participants will be presented the Electronic Government "Pioneers" Award at the closing lunch ceremony, Thursday, July 13, 2000. E-Gov 1999 Government Solutions Center programs were honored by Secretary of Commerce William M. Daley at the awards luncheon and received a letter of congratulations from Vice President Gore.
