NATIONAL GAMBLING IMPACT STUDY COMMISSION

CHAIRMAN JAMES: I sincerely want to thank each and every one of you who took the time and effort to come out and offer public comment. I think I speak on behalf of the entire Commission when I say that that's one of the most important parts of what we do, is to provide a forum for the public to have an opportunity to express their thoughts about this very important issue.

For the some 20 of you or so who did not have an opportunity to speak this evening who were on the waiting list, I would encourage you to submit your testimony in writing and it will be forwarded to every Commissioner and will become a part of the documentation of our work through the Commission. I know many of you have sacrificed a great deal in order to drive or fly or take public transportation to get here and we are indeed grateful for your willingness to do that.

With that, we're adjourned until tomorrow morning and we hope that you will come back and join us then. Thank you.
