NATIONAL DROUGHT POLICY COMMISSION ANNOUNCES FIRST MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING IN JULY

WASHINGTON, July 07, 1999--The National Drought Policy Commission (NDPC) will hold its first meeting Thursday, July 22, 1999, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in the Williamsburg Room, Whitten Building, 1400 Independence Avenue, S.W., Washington, D.C. On Friday, July 23, there will be a public hearing from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Jefferson Auditorium, 1400 Independence Avenue, S.W., Washington, D.C., to solicit comments from the public.
