Baghdad City Council Rejects Violence, Calls for Calm



In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate


The Baghdad City Advisory Council announces its deep regret for the deterioration of the security situation that has beset Iraq and especially Baghdad. It rejects violence, hoping that all decision-making parties will reach solutions satisfactory to all through peaceful dialogue, with respect for the law and a commitment to calm.
