The following Funding Requests were considered by the Board for recommendation to the Administrator:

 

 

#571 � Oilfield Guard Expansion - � Funds were approved for the additional increase of 7,500 Iraqi guards and US/expatriate management team in support of Task Force Shield.� Because of the terrorist threats against the Iraqi oilfields, pipelines, pumping stations, refineries, oil workers and critical oil nodes, there is a greater need of the number of security personnel and equipment. Funds ($1.2M) will be use to provide additional security for eight Ministry of Oil Director-Generals.� These services will be provided through the end of August 2004.
