Tobacco is a legal product.
 
As such, and constitutionally, the government has no right to be involved, and its years of involvement thus far are an indication of the government's imagined sense of unauthorized authority over the citizenry.
 
This is America, remember?  Where the government serves the people?  Where government does not "tell" the people?
 
I know those are concepts foreign to most in government.
 
Please leave us alone to live our lives and buy legal products on the open market.
 
This is not Russia.  Even the Communists do not try to exercise such control over their populace.
