Subject: Health Insurance Deduction

Comment: Re the latest ballon on limiting the employer's deduction for health insurance. With the dramatic increase in health insurance premiums the deductability of 100% of premiums is an important part of small business economics. Higher premiums are not the result of cadilac plans for fat cat executives - it is the result of people with health problems being rated up by the insurance companies. AMT is a mistake that the congress made - fixing it at the expense of sick people is beyond belief. I pay $18,000 per year in premium for a high deductable policy resulting in about $5,000 in out of pocket expense because of poor health and I should pay for ATM repeal? What a joke. Do your job and suggest a replacement for a broken tax code.
