Subject: Single Filers Comment: It is very disturbing how single people are continuosly being unfairly burdened when it tax policy. Why would you raise the real estate exclusion to $600,000 for married couples and not raise it to $300,000 for singles? This is hardly fair and this tax reform effort will not fly unless there is fairness. Single people use less resources of the government yet are forced to pay more in taxes. Please explain how this is fair. Thank you |
