Subject: FairTax Comment: I find it reprehensible that the panel has chosen to completely ignore HR25 / S25 in its deliberations. The President gave the panel a mandate to come up with tax REFORM, not tax increases, not a slap to the wealthy (who, by the way, keep our economy going by providing much needed employment opportunities - when will those of you in power get THAT concept???) It's time the Panel takes notice of the people of this country. A revolution is beginning and we, the people, are finally rising up and demanding tax reform. The Panel members seem to have forgotten that they are paid by my tax dollars and they have a duty to me and every honest, tax-paying person in the country, to do what we want. As I said, the revolution has begun and the upcoming elections will make it clear to all who have opposed, ignored, slanted, or outright lied about the FairTax bill that they will no longer have jobs. Take this opportunity, before your final report, to rethink your position in this matter. Rest assured the President, every congressman, and senator are being bombarded with communications from the FairTax movement so this bill will be passed, with or without your help. |
