Subject: Employee taxation on company portion medical premiums

Comment: It makes no sense to me to tax employees for the employer portion of medical premiums. The costs of health care insurance is out of control as it is. Impacting hard working citizens with more tax burden does not make good sense. What taxable impact would be placed on the citizens who do not have medical insurance provided from an employer, but that receive benefits through a state or federal agency? It is not logical to take discount tax in one area, just to tax the working people in another way.

We should be focusing more energy into the inconsistencies of health care costs, and mandating that some controls are in place to control costs for everyone. In addition, I think our government should strongly encourage the healthcare industry to use optional courses of natural medical treatment as an alternative to the standard course of treatment for so many illnesses. So many prescriptions that are being administered to our citizens are causing illnesses that they will have to deal with in the future. Very few prescriptions cure disease and in many cases have been proven to cause them.

Thanks for your time.
