Subject: The Presidents reform Comment: Dear Neal, I would like you to do what you do best and quiz the President about his opinion on the Fair tax and ask him to support House bill HR-25 and Senator bill S-25 His stated goal is to explore options to reform the tax code to make it simpler, fairer. The Fair tax fits all of his requirements for the following reasons. a) Brings good jobs back to America by rewarding production, rather than exporting them to other countries, like our income tax does today b) Taxes the trillion-dollar underground economy, as well as all the current tax-evading cash proceeds of the criminal/drug/porn economy c) Allows you to keep 100% of your paycheck (minus any state income tax), pension, and Social d) eliminates the IRS and frees up time and money wasted filling out cumbersome IRS forms, to the tune of $250 billion a year, equal to 3% of our Gross e) Allows families to save more for home ownership, education, and retirement Representative John Linder R Ga. has worked on this bill since 1995 and I believe it will work just like it is and that is what I would like to impress on the President.
