Comment: One tax rate for all. What could be more fair than that? Income under some relatively small number would be exempt from tax. (Fair for low income taxpayers and lowers collection expense for the government). If a deduction for mortgage interest is allowed then make it unlimited. Big house construction stimulates the economy and adds to local property tax revenue. Keep a deduction for charitable giving. Good luck. Be bold.
