Subject: HR25 Fair Tax Comment: Sirs, I would like to see a resolution to the Federal taxation issue this year. Please do not put it on the back burner into the election year or beyond. Americans need an overhaul of the tax structure today, in order to maintain our competitiveness worldwide. I am supportive of HR25 to repeal the 16th Amendment and replace the income tax with a National Sales Tax. Note the income tax must be abolished entirely, not simply augmented with a sales tax. Please give this sensitive issue your full attention now. Americans need to see the gov't has made great strides prior to going into an election, not more empty promises for what might happen afterwards. We will take notice of any inaction, and vote accordingly. |
