Subject: FairTax Comment: I want to Thank you for your time and work on one of our nations biggest problems, Taxes. I would like to keep an opened mind when discussing with your collegues. I an interested voter in this country. I am beginning to learn about the K Street lobbyinst and how things work in Washington. What a disgrace. I thought we were a democracy for the people, by the people. Now it seems that votes go to the highest voter. Anyway, thank you for your time and work on the tax reform panel. I am a supporter of the FairTax(HR25/S25). I have discussed this with many coworker, friends, all concernhed voters. We have had some questions about this proposal, and have few problems with it. I urge your panel to look at it. Please do not suggest the status quo. We all know that something huge is needed. Income tax withholding is one of Karl Marxes top priorities. let's do something different. Let us follow in the footsteps of some of the largest economies in the world, Texas!!! This is America and we are, or I should say were, a world leader as far as our economy. No longer. We have corporations, and small businesses, leaving this country for one reaswon, taxes.
