Subject: taxing health benefits Comment: I have been working with employer group plans for more than 8 years. I know how the increasing cost of healthcare effects our population. The tax benefit is really important when we consider families that can barely afford the coverage to begin with. It's really not going to help what has been referred to as a healthcare "crisis" in this country to increase the financial burden. I'm very in support of simplifying the tax code without reducing revenue. But I'm not sure how this contributes to that. |
