Subject: Recent recommendations of panel

Comment: My emailed comments to the President should suffice:

Mr. President,

I've just learned of the recommendations of your tax reform advisory panel. They have recommended nothing to improve our nation's tax system. The recommendations amount to nothing more than a tax increase. Nothing was recommended to reduce the burden of reporting taxes. Nothing was recommended to simplify the tax code. Nothing was recommended to make the tax system more fair. This panel did not act in the spirit of tax reform as you have asked them to do. This is a weak, self-serving set of recommendations.

I hope that you will reject these proposals and dissolve this advisory panel. Please make it public that you are not happy with the poor performance of this group of people. The Fair Tax Plan is the way to go. You need to take the bull by the horns and just get it done. You won't be running next year so don't worry about it. I won't vote for any person that does not support an overhaul of our awful tax system.

I am absolutely and completely astonished that you could ask for recommendations to overhaul the tax system and all you get is a recommendation to increase taxes! What a joke...
