Subject: The Fairtac Plan sounds best to me

Comment: Ladies and Gentlemen,

I recently completed the book "The FairTax Book" by Neal Boortz and John Linder. I was extremely impressed by this thought-out idea and truly believe it would be te fairest tax we could levy at this time. Here is a very short rundown of this Tax in four short points:

1. There is one fair consumption tax rate for everyone, and everyone pays when they decide to purchase something.

2. It gives a rebate to the poor for the amount of taxes that they would have to pay up to their family's poverty level. (The rich would also receive this small rebate, though it would not matter nearly as much for them as they buy much more and therefore would pay much more in taxes. In this way it is progressive.)

3. There are no loopholes that anyone can jump through in order to avoid paying taxes.

4. It has been shown in studies that this type of tax would stimulate the economy immensely.

Thank you for your time, I hope you can take my comments and the FairTax into consideration and see that it is the best proposal at this time!
