Subject: Learning things the hard way Comment: It has always been the misfortune of men, and those men in government, that they never seem to learn from their mistakes. Various taxation schemes have been tried over the course of thousands of years of human history. Only consumption taxes, like the tax scheme purposed in HR25, are truely equitable and not injurious to the general health of a Nations economy. Make no mistke. If our Government continues to shuffle the same old cards, instead of finding a new game to play, they may well find themselves out of a job. Or at least with a harbor full of tea. |
