Subject: Tax Reform Trial Balloons Comment: Dear President Bush: The reforms coming out of this committee are tantamount to tax increases not tax reform. 1. Mortgage Int. Deduction=Tax Increase on homeowners. 2.Employer health insurance deduction reductions= Tax Increase. There is a strong swell of public anger with the current tax code. The groudswell support for "The Fair Tax" H.R. 25 is real and growing stronger everyday at the grass roots level. Ignore the "Fair Tax" and you will be ignoring your base.
