Subject: Proposed Tax reforms Comment: I am very disappointed that the Fair Tax Law that is currently in the House and Senate is not being considerred as the Tax Reform measure. Does the panel not understand that the IRS and are burdensome tax code is destroying the fundamental rights of individuals and businesses? I am 61 years old and am in the process of filing for bankruptcy so I not one of the "wealthy" attempting to avoid paying more taxes due to your proposed reforms. If you have not read the Fair Tax book by Neal Boortz and Congressman John Linder, I urge you to read it now to understand the direction the Tax Reform must head. |
