Subject: Fair Shake for Fair Tax Comment: Initial reports have it that your recommendations to The President for tax reform are going to boil down simply to modifying the existing tax code. PLEASE RE-CONSIDER!!!! The existing system is hemorraging on many levels and another bandaid will not stop that. Please consider reading The Fair Tax Book by John Linder and Neal Boortz. The Fair Tax Plan may not be perfect (nothing will be) but it sure beats what we have now hands down. I will be watching closely. I am curious about one thing. Since none of you are running for an elected office why are you so afraid to step out of the box and really think about something new? I do have a vote for my Congressman and my Senators. If the Fair Tax comes up for a vote and they vote "no", I will exercise my option to do the same when they come up for re-election. Thank you for your consideration. |
