Subject: Retail Sales Tax Comment: Tax panel, I am a CPA who is practicing public accounting in North Carolina and I instruct accounting at UNC Charlotte. I believe that tax reform is very important and I am a strong supporter of a National Retail Sales Tax. I think that if the panel's reccomendations do not include a complete overhaul of the IRS, it will be a wasted effort.
