Subject: Tax Reform Comment: I applaud the President's efforts and the commission's work on reform our current tax system. I am 100% behind the National Retail Sales Tax proposal otherwise known as FairTax. This proposal is the best for all taxpayers and for our economy. I am certain you have heard all the details so I will not repeat them here. I'll just end with these points - FairTax will simplify reporting and make April 15th another day - it will be revenue neutral - it will encourage saving - it will boost the economy and our countries ability to sell our goods and services abroad - it will reduce the end cost of goods and services by eliminating the hidden taxes we pay these items - it will NOT disadvantage low income earners. The FairTax proposal is what America needs. |
