Subject: taxing employer-provided health plans Comment: Folks, Let me get this straight--we can have tax breaks so that millionaires can pass on their fortunes to their heirs or so that multi-national corporations can "repatriate" their profits, but we can't have employers providing benefits to their employees without taxing them. I'll be in favor of this dopey policy just as soon as the administration comes forward with its one-payer health plan that covers all Americans. |
