Subject: National Sales Tax Comment: I believe that our income tax system should be changed to s simple national sales tax. I believe sufficient, or even surplus, amounts could be collected annually to support our federal budget. Of course, it should be accompanied by strongerlimits on the size of the budget. In addition, a national sales tax would simplify reporting and collecting the taxes,it would eliminate income taxes entirely, and, it would reduce the federal budget by severely reducing the size of the Internal Revenue Service. |
