Subject: Nationa Retail Sales Tax (FairTax) Comment: The main problem with the current tax system is that it does not concern itself with taxation only. It attempts to implement income redistribution, which should not be its objective. There exist numerous government entitlement programs already. It also involves itself in special interests which make the tax code unnecessarity complicated. The current tax system is too complicated, and creates the situation of extreme manpower waste. I support the FairTax proposal due to its inherent simplicity and, like the statue of Justice, is blind and fair to all. |
