Subject: No Tax on Health Benefits Comment: As the daughter of a baby-boomer, I watch my mother work so that she has health coverage. I'm sure she is not the only one her age that will have to work until 65...and maybe longer. We researched individual policies, and only found very high-priced benefit plans for her age. How could you possibly think that a tax on health care would be beneficial? You threaten social security and now health care....what are these people going to do? They will have to fall back on their sons and daughters who are struggling to pay the increased taxes for schools and fire/police since the government has taken money away from them. Please find a better way to find the money...or focus on a better budget. |
