Subject: Just Getting By Comment: Working Americans get by from paycheck to paycheck. We make too much money to be eligible for any government programs. We make just enough money to get by without extras that I'm sure you can afford. I one of the lucky Americans to have a company good enough to pay for my insurance. Having wonderful insurance is the only reason I continued to work after having my children. Taxing this will throw my family into a higher tax bracket, resulting in the government taking more away. How does that make my family's life better when you continue to take from us? It is struggle for me now to try and save for any sort of retirement for myself because I have to pay for the retirement of a congressman who served for only 4 years. Please don't take away one of the few true benefits some of the working Americans in this country still have. |
